Three teams plus honorable mentions. Guess how many Rutgers players made the lists? NOT ONE.

Can't remember a season in recent memory where we got no attention. Call me crazy, but that may be a good thing. I think there are several guys on our roster who are going to turn some heads, and that's going to start on Saturday. Lets hope the critical cake eating critics will have a mouth full of crow by the end of the season.

Head turners make the post season teams, not the preseason. Mendyke, Stoller and Kurdyla have all received positive mentions in other preseason articles. Could any, particularly Mendyke, made the HM list? Sure. But 2 are young, and seniors will always get the benefit of the doubt on preseason lists.

With good health I’ll surprised if Kurdyla and Stoller aren’t AA by years end. They were the two best freshmen in the conference at their position.
