That's not what their won SU players were saying on twitter, one of their QBs was raving about Solomon and how he wanted to play with him.
Is it possible that they wanted him to commit right there and not go to RU on Monday and when he said NO, they said the offer was not commit able?
Welcome to the Banks!
For those that have seen him play, what's the word on him? The prior threads seemed to indicate an off camp or something like that. Overall seems like a great get.
Regardless of how much you want to dis Syracuse, what's their sales pitch have to do with it? Apparently, they didn't like Manning enough to even offer him, or they figured they had no shot. No sales pitch necessary.
That could be significant in itself. I'd prefer to believe the latter. 3* are significant. Maybe tehy have other irons in the fire @ LB, and prefer not to devote the effort
Exactly, the kid had a Sewercuse offer for months, by other SU player accounts the kid was outstanding at their place. They wanted him to commit and not go to RU on Monday. He didn't commit so the SU twitter reports are spinning that he did not have an offer. Yet they accepted a commit from a 5'11 185lb Linebacker last week who had no P5 offers. They provided the kid a commitable offer in April. This offer did not go away and they were pursuing the kid. If you believe what the Syracuse fans are stating on message boards, I have a bridge to sell you.
That's my Alma Mater you're talking about. Go Patriots!RU has been fortunate to get some very good players who are also great people from Colonia.

6'2" 200 lb with offers from North Carolina, Pitt, Syracuse(?) , Buffalo, Old Dominion, Army and a slew of FCS schools.
And Syracuse now wants to insist that while they might have made an offer - but it was not "committable" - yeah... seriously doubt that it was not executable - all he had to do to convert it to "committable" was to have said "Syracuse"
Syracuse fans will go through the 5 Phases of Grief on this one, because that's their M.O.
Right now they're saying that Manning never had an offer.
A month from now they'll be saying that Flood cheated to get Manning to commit, and calling him "Son of Shady" or some such nonsense.
They are sad, strange little people aligned with a sad, strange little school that boasts an empty basketball arena as a home field, shitty weather and women too depressed to bother cleaning themselves up a little for a Saturday night "go to town".
