nj.com article: Can Rutgers' Quentin Gause make Eagles' final roster?

Most of the beat writers have said good things about Gause when they mention him in their practice reports and tweets. I hope he makes it on the team.

But, IMO, he's not likely to make the 53, but is a lock for the practice squad. Although the Eagles are thin at LB behind the starters, but they are rumored to be close to signing Tulloch, the former Detroit LB who played under their current D coordinator Jim Schwartz. In addition, they gave the rookie Tavarres the 2nd highest guaranteed money in the league for a UDFA this year.

So, right now it's a numbers game for Gause with the Eagles predicted to keep 6 LBs, it is most likely going to be the starters, then Goode, Tulloch and Tavarres. If they don't sign Tulloch, then Gause is fighting with Joe Walker, a 7th round pick for the final roster spot.

Weren't we talking about Gause just a couple of days ago? And now those articles are showing up on that site? Shocking.
