NJ.COM guys are saying

Calling BS on all this Addazio talk.. Any sitting P5 coach that would actively pursue the RU job needs to have his head examined. Anyone that would believe it is worse.

Adazio has done ok, but Rutgers being historically bad has had to have helped him with recruiting, and he gets many of those wins against non power 5 schools. He's 43-44 at BC in 7 years. Of those 43 wins, almost half are against non-power 5 teams:

UMass 3-0
UConn 2-0
N.Illinois 2-0
Maine 2-0
Holy Cross 1-0
Richmond 1-0
Temple 1-0
C.Michigan 1-0
Wagner 1-0
Buffalo 1-0
Harvard 1-0
Nova 1-0
Army 1-0
NM State 1-0
CoState 0-1

Now, he doesn't lose to those teams which is better than Rutgers can say right now, and give him credit for beating FSU once and USC once, but he's had 7 years at BC and been average at a time where there is no competition for recruits from Rutgers. If he was coach here and Schiano was up in BC (which might actually be the next best fit for him), Addazio isn't winning those recruiting battles.
That looks a lot like another guy. Just can’t think of his name though......

Hafley is the only acceptable alternative to Greg that has been mentioned so far. Hard pass on Addazio

He's possibly about to get canned. He's looking for a parachute.

Just throw the rosters from both teams into the portal and see who wants to play for which coach and which fanbase.

hell, may as well throw both fanbases in the portal too.

God I hope this is true. I really like the Campaniles and their football lineage and pedigree. Give the Jersey Boys a shot!
Insane. Everyone knows there’s only one man who can recruit New Jersey. Did you hear about the scouting reports and portal?
