No. 13 Field Hockey Undone in Second Half at No. 7 Maryland
And another home loss today 3-2. 2-1 LEAD INTO THE 4th!!!! No bueno! This is 4 straight 1-goal losses with 3 of them being at home. I thought this team, which was very young last year IIRC, was expected to do better thngs this season but damn....
UConn (12) tied 1-1 into the 4th (gave up winning goal in 4th)
St Joes (8) ied 0-0 into the 4th (gave up winning goal in the 4th)
Maryland (17): 1-0 lead lost 3-2 (gave up winning goal in the 4th)
Princeton (16) 2-0 lead lost 3-2 (gave up 2 goals in the 4th)
....THIS IS A PROBLEM. When we won the B1G a few years ago these were the games we were winning almost every time out there. Now....these are ALL good teams, BUT....we still have:
Iowa (7)
NW (2)
Indiana
Michigan (5)
Ohio State (2)
MSU (31)
PSU (21)
Current RPI
....SO....this could either play out well for us, as the girls gain more experience playing tight games, OR cost us an NCAA birth at year's end IF we don't start pulling these games off with a VERY difficult road ahead of us. YIKES that schedule is INSANE!!!

I don't even know at this point if we can even get an NCAA bid with 4 losses and chances of us running the table are very slim unfortunately; Hopefully we can learn and grow from this year and come back strong next year
