Technically yes, the B1G is down. But there are still some really good teams. There also isn't much of a bottom either. The B1G is down this year. It's great timing for us to be improved. I see a potentially exciting second half if a few breaks fall our way. It's fun to be a b-ball fan again.
Miles Bridges is out indefinitely with an ankle injury, Langford is struggling. Winston may move into the starting lineup at point guard. Goins is banged up but when he plays it is difficult to remember that he's on the floor -- he's that ineffective at times.I think MSU has been without a few players, and at least one very good scorer.
Excuses differ from explanations.Missing players, no excuse.
As fans we always give certain teams the benefit of the doubt. History has shown us it tends to be true, but sometimes things go haywire and this may be that one year.Miles Bridges is out indefinitely with an ankle injury, Langford is struggling. Izzo's teams always seem to improve as the season progresses. I expect them to figure some things out. If they get healthy in time, they'll be the team nobody wants to play in the B1G Tournament.
