If Eugene is actually leaving what this simply means for RU is that Yeboah picks up an extra 10 minutes a night or so and the rest of those minutes are then spread out between Harper, Mulcahy and McConnell.

If you guys remember when Eugene went down against Ohio State last year, the ball just kept moving and we looked a lot more efficient on offense. Granted we followed it up with a few clunkers where it was blatantly obvious that we missed Eugene, but at the same time we had no replacement for him, we now have Yeboah, it is night and day. The ball got stuck in Eugene's hands far too much last year and he tried to force things.

I've been told that Harper has been an absolute killer this offseason and he can truly guard the 4 on the block and do a damn good job at it. So when Yeboah needs a blow we have the ability to put Harper at the 4 and play McConnell at the 3 allowing us to run and gun. Also, when harper plays the 4 that gives us the ability to have mulcahy get more minutes and play PG as most believe mulcahy will play the point but guard the 3 on D.

Overall our offense should be more efficient this year and we should be a better defensive team without eugene as well. Eugene really struggled guarding post players (Illinois was embarrassing), yeboah is a much better defender in the post. At the end of the day if this is true, it if of my opinion that we are now a better team.
