O.T.-Tommy Allsup dead at 85

The guitarist and songwriter for many rockabilly and country stars had his number finally come up on Wednesday.In 1959,he lost a coin flip to Ritchie Valens for a seat on a plane carrying Valens,Buddy Holly and The Big Bopper.The plane crashed soon after takeoff,killing all aboard.The incident was immortalized by Don Mc Lean's American Pie as The Day The Music Died.
