We are losing at most 2 or 3 major cogs in our offense and bringing back a boat load of talent.

Returning are: Rs Jr. Desmond Peoples at rb; Jrs. Justin Goodwin at rb and Troy Anthony at QB; RS sophomores Chris Laviano and Hayden Rettig at qb; sophomores Josh Hicks and Rob Martin at rb; RS freshman Gio Rescigno at qb; and freshmen Max Anthony(fb), Jack Clements (qb), Michael Dare (qb), Conor Dowd (fb), Jeffrey Farina(rb), and Shaquon Oliver (fb).

At quarterback we may be in the best situation ever.. Chis Laviano looks to be one of the best quarterbacks in the B1G before he graduates, and he barely managed to beat out Hayden Rettig for the starting job. so Hayden likely has lots of potential also. We have heard lots of good things about Dare. To top it all off, we may well have Anthony Russo as an incoming freshman (if Coach Flood stays). He has as much potential as anyone. I don't know much about Gio.

We should also be stacked at running back with 3 major contributors coming back. We may have an incoming freshman, Sneed, to add, and he seems to be a serious talent also.

We lose our number one fullback. The two guys who are currently behind him on the depth chart come back, and we have 2 or 3 walk-on freshmen who the mods seemed very positive about.

In conclusion I think we have the potential to be able to compete with anyone in the B1G at these positions. the staff has done a great job of providing talent and depth.
