We have everybody back next year, except for Lumpkin.
Right now the roster includes; RS Juniors Ryan Brodie, J.J. Denman, Chris Muller, & Derrick Nelson; RS Sophomore Dorian Miller; RS Freshmen Marcus Applefield, Tariq Cole, Zack Heeman, & Jacquis Webb; and Freshmen Jonah Jackson, Skiy Pyrame, Chris Rowell, Jack Shutack, Manny Taylor, and Zach Venesky.
Right now , our line seems to be jelling . We ran well against Indiana, but (more importantly) we gave our quarterback time - rushing the passer was supposed to be Indiana's strength.
Although Lumpkin is a big talent, we still have 4 out of 5 of these guys coming back. At least 3 of the red-shirt freshmen seemed to be pushing for time this year, so I think we find at least one to step in and be assertive. We also have a couple of freshmen who appear to be making noise already. Krimin is supposed to be a real talent, but probably won't be ready right away.
So I believe we will have both depth and talent. If Coach Flood stays, our offensive line coach has a strong reputation, so I strongly believe we will take a step up next year (and probably a big one) and be one of the better lines in the B1G.
