Demonstrates how miffed the NFL regime was at Brady for not turning over emails/text messages. One sports law expert I follow opined, correctly I believe, that without subpoena power the NFL had to hammer Brady to ensure future compliance with investigations (that will be much more serious than Deflategate.)

Still, I'd love to see the Spygate tapes that were destroyed. Hopefully, someone is still sitting on them and pulls a Murdoch.
