On the Banks blog talks schedule

Good to see. It sounds like the program will have some winnable ball games.

Agreed. At this stage of the program, let's just gets wins and improve on 15 and 3.

Hope we get a real ACC team, last year getting Miami was a joke. Similar to us talent wise. I worded it wrong joke we had to play them.

I worded it wrong geez. I meant play BC, joke we had to play Miami. Probably watching the Mets yesterday.

Should always play Princeton. Was convinced the Princeton game always helped us when we played Georgetown.

Would also help us for NCAA tourney games as teach us to protect the ball and play different teams with different tempos.

Rutgers Princeton scrolling on TV is always cool to see

Hate that we do not play them. Hope they get put back on the schedule.

I enjoyed the game too but Princeton is now up tempo like everyone else.

Last year Princeton was #340 in the nation in possessions per game. Very much like St. Mary's and UVA.

They were not up tempo at all.

there are enough variety of style of play in the Big 10 already without playing Princeton
There is nothing to be gained playing Princeton right now.last year Rutgers was no better than the fourth best team in NJ behind Seton Hall, Monmouth and Princeton. The priority is to have a winning season which means a very easy out of conference schedule with no more than 2-3 difficult games.Right now Rutgers has very little margin for error and winning takes priority over playing a traditional local rival.

I saw them play Monmouth and both teams were in the 80's if memory serves.

Are you sure about that 340 number ?

B1G schools should not be afraid. Dont want to be the Power 5 school with weak strength of schedule that does not get in. See Cuse.
