...for us, the fans, who love the program and strongly support the current coach.
Proposed: We discuss and determine an alternative Rutgers sports news site that we collectively agree to view instead of NJ.com.
I'm a paying member of this site, but I've always checked NJ.com as a complement to this site's coverage. I'm just an addict like that....
But I'm disgusted. We just put on an offensive show in Game 1 of the season, and NJ.com continues to ride other narratives as if they deserve higher billing than this team's huge win. I'm even kid of pissed at Rivals right now because leading with the QB controversy story caters to the lowest common denominator.
So....if folks here can use this thread to highlight the other (non-pay) sites that do the best job of presenting RU athletics in the manner that it should be, I'd really appreciate it. And if you sign on to the premise that we should continue to collectively boycott the sites that have fallen into the habit of highlighting/creating/perpetuating negative narratives, please bump this up. The NJ culture of self loathing, self defeating back biting needs to stop...and hopefully, this is one small step towards that.
