Anyone have a report from it?? I’m dying to know how the girls that can practice right now look.

I went to Pike's open practice. He talked to he crowd and mostly let his assistants run the practice. Coach Stringer make a brief statement to the crowd and let everyone introduce themselves, There was a big shoutout to the men and Kathleen Fitzpatrick (back as a grad assistant) who make up the practice squad the ladies go against. Practice was intense. When things were not going right Coach Stringer let everyone including her assistant coaches who was the boss! Team (10 players only due to injuries) played a scrimmage against the practice squad with actual officials reffing. Seems to be a major rule change to setting screens. Ref's did an excellent job explaining why each foul was called. It looks like we found our blonde ponytail in Noga Peleg Pelc from Israel. She may not be blonde but shoots lights out from beyond the arc. Zippy is very energetic and crowd gave her a big ovation when introduced. Several players were injured. KK, who is definitely a leader on the team, had her hand and arm in what looked like a soft cast. We still seem to miss the inside layup but had success from outside especially Noga. Zippy is still a bit raw but you can see the potential there. This will be a team that will much better in February.

Thanks for the report! Who were the players out besides Sanders and Mack, if you know.

Arella Guirantes must still be suffering from concussion. She practiced shots early but did not participate in full practice. I think the other was Charise Wilson, a graduate transfer.

That sounds about right on the players out. Arella came close to my seat and mentioned that she was under concussion protocol.

Here is what I heard: KK Sanders had surgery last Monday and had a screw put in her wrist. She will probably be out for a while. Arella Guirantes is still on concussion watch and should be back soon. Sierra Calhoun had ice on her ankle. I heard it was a high ankle sprain and she should also be back soon. Charise did not practice. I don't know why.

Saw on Arella’s Instagram story that she's cleared. Very very good news. I predicting her to be our leading scorer this year.
