From an article on that site that will not be named (link below). It was just a comment Ash made during the initial meeting, but it resonated with the players and took on a life of its own.
Here are the key quotes, which are awesome:
"I talked to our players about the offseason program and we're going to find out who will fight. And if you're not, it's going to be a 'fight or flight' decision for you," Ash said. "It's going to be a very competitive, demanding offseason and that's what we need to do to find out what we have in the program and establish the type of work ethic and toughness and discipline that we want. The players in the program are going to fight or they're going to go."...
"The expectations have to be crystal clear from the start," Ash said. "What the expectations are, the culture that we want, the work habits that we want, the way we're going to conduct business — it's everything to get off on the right foot. I'm not coming in to be buddy-buddy with people. I'm coming in to try to turn the program around and be competitive and then eventually win games. That's what I'm trying to do. That's not going to be easy. It's not going to happen overnight. But the sooner that the players can buy-in, the faster that will happen. The only way they're going to buy-in is if everything is crystal clear and there's no gray area and no confusion."
