Yep. I thought it would be 30. We match up horribly against them, way worse than against MSU.Lower than expected. I figured closer to 28.
I agree that he'll most likely start Barret against us because game film will show how we often struggle w/mobile, dual-threat QBs. He's a smart guy and if he's crazy, he's crazy like a fox. Not sure what was causing him to stick w/Jones for so long, but I'm sure he had his reasons. Maybe it'll become evident later in the season. And you watch, Urban Meyer will suddenly find his sanity and start Barret.
Thought it might be higher, but after the MSU and IU games the oddsmakers are probably hesitant on going too high.
MSU and OSU are not in the same league talent wise. Big ten tiers:Yep. I thought it would be 30. We match up horribly against them, way worse than against MSU.
I think Jones gives an advantage against the better defenses. Barrett is better against weaker defenses. If a defense is slow Barrett can get to the outside and just crush a defense. But when the defense is fast and can set the edge he is nullified. You can never completely nullify Jones because he's got a big arm, can throw over a defense and he can run up the middle of a defense and run over a 250 lb linebacker. Factor in that Jones could have went to the NFL last year. Do you really think it still wouldn't be 20?with the status of Carroo, Hester, Austin unknown, this doesn't surprise me.
when is the last time RU didn't cover a double digit dog at home?I take OSU all day at -20
I watched them play TTFP last week. Their top 25 players are better than our best.when is the last time RU didn't cover a double digit dog at home?

Let's calm down here. Our best player is a 2nd-3rd round NFL draft pick (and his stock is only improving)
Carroo isn't 2nd or 3rd rd pick. He'll go at the latest late 1st rd. He is within the top 3-4 WRs in this draft and a good combine will shoot his draft stock higher.
The problem is all of OSU's starters are like Carroo at their respective positions.
Ok can't argue that.I watched them play TTFP last week. Their top 25 players are better than our best.
