OT: Another Brexit

Still boggles my mind that the FA can't put together a team that consistently is in the mix for titles.

Taking a look at the brackets it seems to me that the 2 sides of the bracket are out of balance. One side has Germany, France, Italy and Iceland with Spain and England out in the round of 16. The other side has Poland, Portugal, Wales and Belgium in the quarters. Not sure how the rankings are but to me it looks like one side was much tougher.

Problem is, he's talking about it on an American football board, where half the population has no fkn idea what he's babbling about.

Ya think?

They had a stat yesterday that showed something like 25 major championships on one side... ZERO on the other.

Yeah....well...I'm not new to this board. So I know you're right.
But I'm gonna continue to Babylon....fully aware that half the population here has no fkn idea....

Hodgson. Needs to go. Still can't believing Sterling was starting. Iceland wanted this more.

I hear England and Wales will be excluded from the tourney beginning next year based on the Brexit vote, Northern Ireland and Scotland are still in.

That loss by England was unfathomable. They played so far below their capability, with bad play/pass after bad play/pass, that it almost looked like they threw the game. And Iceland's energy and fearlessness were unbelievable. Interesting article, though, from one writer who believed in Iceland - contains some cool facts on how soccer crazy Iceland is.

England always fails in tourney's even with some decent talent. It's just how it works now.
