OT: Bruce Beck = class act

On his NBC Sports Final show tonight, Bruce gave a moving tribute to NY Mets Senior Director of Media Relations Shannon Forde, who passed away from breast cancer. Bruce barely got through his tribute coming very close to breaking down a couple of times. I feel he's the best NY sports reporter, knowledgeable, fair, and upbeat about the local teams. I'm so glad he's part of the Rutgers sports family, and even though his weekly Rutgers highlight shows are part of the propaganda geared toward recruiting to some extent,he's an asset to our great University. i once had a job that let me use a car service home from work late at night, and I would talk to the drivers and they would deal with many celebs, but the only "celeb" they really loved was Bruce Beck. I thought that was great.
