Which sealant protectant do you prefer on your cars to protect from the elements.

Many dealers sell Xzilon. It has a nice brochure and my understanding is that you are buying the warranty more than the product from the dealer. The dealers sell this for $700-$1200 (probably mostly commission).

I have heard good things about Opti-Coat Pro and CQuartz Finest. I contacted a detailer that is highly reviewed and he sells them both with a detail included for just under 1k.

The main reason for this is protection from things like bird poop, dust, and things like that. My understanding is none of the coating (except for the Clear Bra) will repel paint chips from road debris and very few can guard against dings if someone opens their door into yours at the supermarket.
