Not saying IVY has the best physical athletes or biggest physical presence. But the amount of hitting I have seen in IVY dwarfs anything I have seen in the B1G for years. That’s definitely not accurate. The B1G is by far the most physical league.
Duke sad to say because Dino is an alum but they are very poorly coached. They make mistakes all over the field constantly.
Yea it’s my opinion. May be wild take but my eyes and ears see and hear the contact. That’s a wild take. Dude from OSU just had three teeth knocked out yesterday.
Agree with ACC being the least physical of any conference. Again not saying B1G is not physical. The physicality doesn’t stand out. Maybe because B1G athletes absorb the contact better. Cornell which is the team from IVY I have watched the most are insanely physical. Playing the man before the ball on many ground balls(something I haven’t seen from RU in years). I love physicality early to set the tone. Something I have always preached while coaching. He was.
Princeton is finesse team. Including their defense. Cornell is physical but certainly no more than any B1G team. It’s by far the most physical league. Every team in the league except maybe Hopkins is based on beastly defensive physical play.
Acc would be the least physical of the three.
Cornell has some dudes, specifically Kelleher and Reeder. Reeder played with my buddy’s son at St. Ignatius in SF and spent a year at Stanford for football before transferring to Cornell and he is a banger. But Overall B1G is far more physical and it isn’t really particularly close. Not saying IVY has the best physical athletes or biggest physical presence. But the amount of hitting I have seen in IVY dwarfs anything I have seen in the B1G for years.
Yep. We definitely need to add another layer of offense, specifically that of working the inside.I hope our offensive guys are watching this Princeton Cornell game. The way both teams are attacking early of the dodge and then working the inside later in the shot clock is what we were missing all season.
