Thinking of going on a cruise at the end of this month out of miami or fort lauderdale. never been. what are they like? are there lots of singles? looking to party and hoping for a younger crowd. should i go with royal caribbean, norwegian cruise lines or carnival? would appreciate ideas and suggestions.

The happenin' singles scene (so I'm told) isn't with the cruise ship crowd - it's with the tall ship crowd. The candidate pool is a lot smaller but they're more focused on having fun, socially, as opposed to spending the day at the tables in the casino.

I'm 30 and prefer carnival because of the younger crowd and entertainment. Norwegian my parents seem young on and the one RC cruise I was on was a 3 day Bahamas out of Miami. It rained the entire time and the cruise just sucked.

Cruises are floating buffet tables IMO. Think of Catskills resort on the water - people live for the eating. If you want all-inclusive and younger, I would consider Cancun/Playa del Carmen or DR, or something like that. May be cheaper too.

The only one I liked was Top Gun, or maybe the one where he was a sports agent. Or was he also in Toby Macguire? That's all I've got.

Floating Petri dishes!
My suggestion is you fly to the Bahamas
and go nude Bear Boating with a couple of 10s from your stable.

Been on many NCL cruises. Going on another in a few weeks. Enjoyed them all. But I'm 60. I like to relax. lol

Step 1: Get on boat
Step 2: Get off boat
Step 3: Fly to one of those cruise destinations, or any other tropical location.
