The explosion involved at least one pipe bomb in a trash can at the time a Semper Five 5K race event - with 3,000 participants - was to be held for the U.S. Marines, according to authorities. The race was canceled."

This was pretty bad down here today. The Seafood Festival in Point Pleasant was cancelled after this plus a ton of businesses were on lock down. My sons travel teams baseball game was moved to Brick from Point Pleasant. Wasn't a comfortable scene down here.

Earlier in the day my wife had a 5k run in Point Pleasant. Thank God they weren't targeted.
