OT Early decision/action

Anyone with college bound kids get good news? Hopefully from Rutgers.

My son didn’t get his early decision or early action (deferred).- seems to be the pattern with most of the people in his high school. Another brutal year for college admissions.

He did get a lightning fast acceptance and promise of substantial scholarship money to a top honors program at a public university. I’m really proud of that and think it would be an amazing opportunity (if he takes it).

I’m a bit disappointed that he hasn’t heard from Rutgers yet- there is no question he will get in, but I wish it would have been the first acceptance.

Rutgers isn’t sending out EA decisions on a rolling basis this year; they will come out at the end of January this year (possibly 1/31). RD decisions will be out end of February.
