OT: Generator deal at Home Depot

disclaimer: I know nothinng about generators but saw this on another site and most people think it is a good deal. Might be a nice little tailgater. Maybe someone with more knowledge can chime in.

I recommend the Sears (poor Sears) Storm Responder. I had that puppy 13 straight days during Sandy, converted it trip power, never had a single hiccup. There were 2 people on my block with the same and had the similar results. Outstanding but agree, Honda is awesome

Great home/work generator. But for tailgates an inverter generator is needed, quiet. Honda makes the best. If OP is looking to buy that generator for his tailgates he will have a lot of unhappy tailgaters next to him.

Yamaha is a better unit. Both are the best but Yamaha gives more bang for your buck
