Rather than a field house if Miami had cam ward for the second half they would have won
Field house gets them a better backup
Miami also pulled its best player in years off the field to show us this game meant nothing …some of the old farts and purists here are will claim they are will never watch a game again….until the Colorado game in 5 minutes
Would having the best RB in the B1G help? Just trying set goal posts
I have watched most of not all of every bowl game. Unless I was traveling or at a game, I watched. I love bowl season. Will be at the fiesta bowl for 10th straight season. I’m an old fart
What does it matter what his draft position is? He was a 0 star and he didn’t develop in a state of the art facility.
But he went from a mid round pick to a top 2 pick in the draft because of Miami (and probably the field house ).
No it was the shoes. He could have stayed at wazzu and been top 10 no problem.
The ACC is trash. Now 1-8 in bowl games and ECU is up multiple scores on NC State in the Military Bowl. ACC is closer to the American than they are the SEC/B1G or even Big 12.
I am not being a Miami defendant here. Just pointing out what seems to be obvious. If you are referring to our bowl game I am sure KM would have helped, and yes maybe we would have won. But, our backups were significantly better than Miami’s backup QB. If Miami knew that Ward was only playing the first half it looked like they did nothing to prepare the back up. He looked lost. Once ISU took away the run after the first series Miami had no answer. We knew KM wasn’t playing and we had our backups ready and prepared. They looked like they were running an offense he couldn’t handle.
There were a couple who said they wouldn't watch "opt out" bowl games.
Good assumption they still watched our game on Thursday.
Well according to Al having a field house and NIL guarantees you a next man up.
Well, it was either that or the Snoop Dogsh*t bowl. I don't know about you, but I wasn''t interested in watching Colorado St. vs Miami(Ohio).
But field houses promote depth. And that depth should ensure Miami wins. PLUS the huge sum of NIL going to Miami HAS to buy a better team. Right Al?
It lessens the enthusiasm to watch. I haven't viewed one second of college FB today until this point. I have opted to watch the true and regulated professional NFL games most of the day. If Colorado has a field house, I just might be influenced to turn on the game though.

That was the NC St. vs ECU game, 8 guys were ejected. During the scrum guy pushed someone from behind and his helmet went right into the face of the ref full force.
I watched the game . If the ref's had a better fieldhouse this would never have happened.
(btw, they should have just ended that game right afterwards. I'm not sure that #15 for NC St. was one of the 5 ejected for them and HE was the one who started it all. Playing the last 35 seconds and 1 final kneel down wasn't worth the risk of additional fighting and embarrassment. Thank God Dorn didn't call his last timeout there).
Cam Ward was one and they had some others but Restrepo didn't play the whole game. IMO, he was just about as instrumental to that offense and those freaking come backs as Ward. So many times in those games I was cursing how do you leave that guy open and he'd rattle off a huge play or TD.
Bowl games don't have the same meaning or thrill for me but I'll watch them here and there and occasionally you'll get a good game. I wouldn't make any judgments though from them because they're so far away from the regular season and quite often you're literally playing with a different team. It's not like the NCAA tourney in basketball or the CFP.
Get off their lawn. Pulling Ward from the game also masked the fact that Cristobal is a choke coach.
You know coaching is over rated. It never was about coaching. It’s field house!!!
