OT:Is it gonna end up Aroldis Chapman vs. Andrew Miller in the World Series ?

Why is it an "ouch"? We were not going anywhere with them, and trading Miller helped stop the sox which I like. We got great prospects for them and can get Chapman back.
Yeah there is nothing "ouch" about it. Organization did a great job in signing those players, and getting a huge return for them. I don't expect anything, but if they really want Chapman, they will get him back. The fans got exciting baseball in September in a "rebuilding year." I feel good about it.
Smart moves by the Yankees. Bullpen arms are important to playoff teams, but a waste to rebuilding teams.
I think we are two moves away from competing. Just not sure the front office will do it. Chapman and Cespedes. Cespedes is EXACTLY what we need. Right hand power hitting outfielder who has already shown he can handle NY. There are no starters available. So sure up the pen. I do t love Bettances as the closer.

You don't know that we weren't going anywhere if we had just cut A-Rod, traded Beltran and Chapman, and made Tex a part-time player. We could have brought up Sanchez, Judge, and Austin AND kept Miller. IMO, he could have made the difference in some of those key games we lost in September.

The Yankees dealings this season were spectacular and envigorating...Period! If the tribe or cubbies win a title as a result...good for them!
