OT - Josh Brown

As a Giants fan and believer that the Giants for the most part run a 1st class organization, I am mystified by their seeming inability to take a stand on this whole sordid issue.

I get that they don't want to turn on a member of the team but to not cut him simply sends out the wrong message. The Giants in the past have cut people but have at the same time got players the help they needed.

If I was Mara and Tisch, I would release him after returning from London but help him get the help he needs and give him a chance to compete with Robbie Gould for the job next summer.

I don't believe that people like Brown and Ray Rice should not get a 2nd chance.

The business side of it is that brown is a pretty good kicker. The Giants will probably see how Gould kicks and maybe then brown becomes expendable . If Gould stinks then they probably 'rehab' brown and get him back on the active roster.
