Noticed somewhere that Monmouth coach King Rice’s son is headed to Bucknell for his college hoops. Is that some kind of comment on King Rice’s status at Monmouth, or simply a kid’s decision to head elsewhere? Bucknell is no slouch at hoops and usually well-coached.

Pretty common for sons to suit up for their Dad’s program. Calipari’s son suited up at Kentucky. McCaffery’s son at Iowa. Beilein’s son played for him at West Virginia. Al McGuire. Jerry Tarkanian. Bobby Knight. Many, many.

I've seen him numerous times------couldn't play at Monmouth IMO.

I think he's a reach for Bucknell personally.

He committed to Bucknell awhile ago. Have no idea of his skill level but he made right decision academically and athletically.

Bucknell was named one of the nation's top 10 party schools last year. My childhood friends daughter (grandad a big RU pharma alum) attended Bucknell for a year and just transferred to Lafayette-quite possibly to be closer to her horse and home.
