Watched 1st two episodes and I can say is:
BOOOOOOOM! ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!
If you were anywhere between 10 and 30, in the early early-to-mid-80's, this is an absolute MUST watch over the weekend. Even if you're younger, or older, the story of how they got their start, their transitions, the rappers they grew with in the industry (Kurtis Blow, The Beastie Boys, LL, then with Adidas and Aerosmith, etc) is so damn nostalgic, as well as head-spinning, that this is just a "can't miss" IMHO.
Obviously not the truest "pioneers" of "rap/hip-hop," however, "pioneers" in their own right and without question on the Mt Rushmore of the rap/hip-hop industry IMHO.
