I never found him better or worse than others
Sports media should be flattened and rebuilt.
Its all formulas and heavily slanted to mediocrity.
I cant keep track of all the shows with a question queen leading a panel of ex-sports people with dumb questions/answers.

I actually enjoyed the Mike and Mike show while I was driving to work.
He was ok with Golic. Without him, not so much.
Wish everything-ESPN would sign off for good.

Edit: He is in a lifetime tie as most annoying talking head sports guy, along with the F1 announcer.

His persona as a "conventional-thinking disgruntled every-man fan" was so weak. He never had an original or insightful thought in all the time i would sporadically listen to his show.
From all accounts they got along well as a team. Then Greeney got bored and wanted to do something else. Golic wanted to continue and reportedly felt blindsided. I doubt that they are particularly close now.
You do know that as far as your life is concerned, you are empowered to make that happen, right?
That's how I remember it too. I really didn't mind Mike and Mike in the morning. That was my go-to on my morning drive-in for a while. I think Imus was still on WFAN at the time and I was never a big fan. I liked Stern better.
