We have to got 2-0 against Umd and Iowa at home after our Purdue game
Terps with a huge New Years Eve hangover. Too much champagne perhaps?
People on this board said Maryland is a part of the top group of B1G teams, along with Purdue and Wisconsin. Well, what do they have to say now?
Perhaps this is just their Seton Hall game? They aren't this bad obviously.
Totally unfair that Maryland has to play road games. Those kids won't be back in their dorms until 9pm.
If Purdue beats us like this tomorrow, I would be hiding my tail between my legs. This is a down Michigan who just lost to Central Michigan and is 7-5.

Iowa is in big trouble if they lose today. They have Indiana and us at the RAC next. Could be staring at an 0-5 B1G hole.

Meanwhile; Maryland just had its 2nd player foul out with 10 mins to go.
Not the reason for the blowout but at one point with 13 mins left in the half it was 8 fouls on MD and 0 on Michigan. Willard got a technical bc of it
I said they’d live and die by 3 because they can’t get penetration. Michigan is playing them perfect.
Not really even comparable. We at least played great D against the Hall. We lost by 2 pts. We were never down by 31 pts.
Other than that agree they are not as bad as this game is showing.
Maryland was only a 1.5 dog at Michigan. To lose by 37 is mind boggling. Hopefully, they put in a similar effort at the RAC on Thursday!

Anything is possible. Terps only win when shoot lights out from three. I don't see that happening with noise at RAC and our superb D, but yes, everyone needs to be taken very seriously.
Better be freaking loud at RAC Thursday. Don't let Terps start raining threes. Otherwise, we win going home.

I'm no basketball expert (although I've watched the Terrapins for a long time). But honestly, I think an inordinate number of their shots went into the basket in early games, for whatever reason. And those shots aren't going in anymore. That's the extent of my basketball knowledge. Call it luck, call it a shooting slump, whatever. I don't think they'll ever hit all those shots again the way they were in November. It was fun while it lasted, though.
The basketball world has a lot of respect for Maryland basketball, so, perhaps unfairly, they were propped up as a stud team prematurely.
