At the 1:48 mark Mr. Magoo's nephew, Waldo (voiced by the late Casey Kasem), reads a letter from Rutgers University inviting Magoo back to his alma mater. Magoo mistakes the Rutgers campus for a zoo he had driven in to but still manages to cheer on the "football team" and toast his old "friends" and Rutgers in the final minute or so.

Oh Magoo.... you've done it again!

now post the Groucho comment about his favorite team being Rutgers...and get those DOLTS in the marketing department to show it on the big screen in shot clips before the game, during halftime ...and when (I Hope) we score ("Oh Magoo you've done it again).

Those of you in the yellow lot may notice my Mr. Magoo flag. Had it customer made off a water color my MIL painted, which was based on a cartoon cell.

He also was the star of Rutgers Football. We should bring him back. With him running the ball (hopefully in the right direction) we would be unstoppable.

I hope it is because Rutgers doesn't own the IP on Magoo that we can't use his likeness in official merchandise. What a waste.

Not to break out of the humor, but I noticed the clip said "Class of 1928." The Rutgers football media guide used to list Quincy Magoo as a letterman in 1911 and 1912.

Clearly this is a disgraceful error making this Loyal Son far older than he actually is.

Oh Quincy Magoo's graduation year at Rutgers is just as fuzzy as his eyesight. There are cartoons mentioning he graduated in '06 in '21 in '25 in '28 and other years. But he won his Rutgers football letters in 1910 and 1911 as actually listed in the archives!
