Rip to a very good actor. He was very serious about his work. He left a prime tine gig on good tines when the show was hot because he felt the scripts did not accurately portray the urban experience people were living in the 70s. Walked away from prime time money for what he believed in. Got give the man respect for sticking to his beliefs.

Nice area. One of my business partners lived in Tewkesbury.
My friend and I pulled into Gandolfini’s driveway hoping to say hello.
My friend was Gandolfini’s Park Ridge HS basketball coach.
Unfortunately the woman who answered the door explained that he wasn’t around, but that he would be disappointed that he missed my friend stopping by to say hello.

And Also played Kansas City Mack in "Let's Do it Again", alongside Sidney Poitier, Bill Cosby and Jimmy Walker.
One of the last watchable movies Cosby was in. I think Poitier directed that one.
