OT- Norwegian Escape

Has anyone been on the Norwegian Escape? Looking for information on the paying adult area for sun tanning....is it worth paying the extra money for this area?

Also recommendations for restaurants on board would be great. Anything else that we should know would be appreciated.

It's likely similar to the Breakaway, which we were just on. It's worth it if the other areas are full - no kids!!!

I assume they have the same restaurants as well - Le Bistro and Cagneys being the best two, but we also liked La Cucina this time...

If you're not on the ship with kids, it's totally worth it to have a place you can escape from the screaming hordes.

Try the Moderno Churrascaria if you're a carnivore. Everything we had there was fantastic.

I have done a week on the Escape and am a big NCL guy. Love the freestyle cruising. The adult only area might be worth it depending on how crowded the ship is. I am a big fan of staying on the ship when it goes into port since then you pretty much own the ship. Also NCL is doing a big promo which includes the drink package. This is VERY worthwhile.

Amazing, amazing ship. had a blast. the ship is like being on drugs. you don't want to leave. did the 7 day cruise last week of february. don't think they were charging for the sundeck when i went, but if they did, i wouldn't do it. hanging out by the pool was good enough, imo.

• staff was amazing
• service was amazing
• cagneys was great
• la churascaria (sp) was great
• le bistro was great
• buffet was greta
• manhattans was great
• st thomas excursion where i went kayaking, snorkeling and hiking was great
• tortola snorkeling excursion to the caves was great
• swimming with the dolphins at dolphin cay in atlantis was amazing, the highlight of the trip

Only problem now with everyone getting the free drinks package is that there are more drunken people walking around on the ship. lol
