OT: Once a gold standard, Michigan football's response to NCAA violations shows it's just a common cheat

I was randomly watching this NOT expecting a Rutgers mention… Not sure if this was posted or discussed already.

Go to the 12:54 mark to hear the specific Rutgers nugget. Not sure if there are other mentions after just yet…

So are we saying cheating is OK assuming we're a blue blood program. I think it's abundantly clear that all of these top sports schools play by a different standard. I mean, look at PSU, they had the vilest story of all time and no one there seems to care anymore because they win.

Nothing will change. It's pretty depressing and demotivating TBH.

Man it's all about $$$$, the Big Dog will do what they have to do to win. It has always been been like that throughout history, that will never change. At the end of the day people will only remember your W-L record

I’m lumping cheating in with obnoxiousness.

Not really. You just didn't care about the other more vile stories since it did not involve a rival. KInd of says something about you.

My wife's family is from central Pennsylvania and were Pedd State fans....until the Sandusky scandal hit. Most of them never went back to rooting for that bunch. So, for some there is a line that can't be crossed.

Man I live in Central PA, they don't even bring up JS anymore. Say what you want about State Penn fans but you will never question their loyalty. Every Friday, rt 322 from Harrisburg to State College jam packed, all the bars are jammed . Over 100,000 at every home game

Nothing will happen. This is how the game is played. They are doing what it takes to win. That's college sports as we know it.

Uh huh. What a genius.

Just keeping it real. Do you know the names of any of the actual police or DAs who were told about any of these cases and failed to prevent them? Do you even care?

Most of these cases the police and DAs were told YEARS or even DECADES earlier.

There are about 13 million people currently living in Pa. Some of them still are Pedd St. football fans.
I know some of them that stopped being fans of that team after Sandusky.
