Johns Hopkins (in white) fools Navy. And kudos to the announcer who very nonchalantly announced the hidden ball trick while in progress.

I still hate Johns Hopkins after we beat them twice last year, including a blowout almost by twice their score, both home AND away, in the Big Ten tournament, and they were picked to go to the NCAAs over us. It was my first season getting into lacrosse and by the end I was a huge fan but it's hard to get into it again knowing we could have had the kind of success we had last year, beating many ranked teams, having a great record, and the blue bloods get picked instead no matter what.

I'm with you on Hopkins!

My avatar is a Loyola lacrosse helmet. Went to school a mile up the road from Hopkins...didn't like those guys at all. Fortunately we beat them somewhat regularly now.

I agree it sucks, but Rutgers lost a couple games last year they should have won. It's not like there was nothing wrong with our resume

Go Hounds(Lax 72-74 before hurt knee during 75 Bball season)...Yes Loyola can be considered one of the Lax "blue-bloods" now. Have had a bet for the last 5 years that have been coaching in our youth rec program with the director, who was an All American at Hopkins after I graduated, on who brings the bloody marys to the tourney's we play in @ Hillsborough and Robbinsville. Lets say he has supplied them more than I have...[cheers]

Yes RU should have been in the NCAA's last year but the schedule strength was lacking plus the bad losses against Stony Brook, Princeton and especially Ohio State hurt. At least this year they upped the schedule ranking some. The loss of Charalambides will hurt some but think they have enough to make up for it. Will see

Traz is a big loss, as is Charalambides. We are going to have a different look on settled offense now I think. Charalambides and Traz are two long range bombers, though AC is a finisher as well. SHould be interesting to see how the squad develops throughout the year.

Sacrilegious to say before the first game of a season that still holds a lot of promise, but man, with those two back in the fold and the guys on the squad now having another full year of experience, 18 is going to be something. Dave, don't let last year cloud your judgement. These kids work hard and play an exciting game. Go support them.

Shark River parent here.

Robbinsville fans can be quite "enthusiastic" at times. LOL

Just wait until you see the kids coming in next year on offense. Attanasio and Dougherty are freakish

Yes they are..
We(Monroe) have played you in the past years but not scheduled for this year as I look at our upcoming schedule.

I have heard this. The attackman from Georgia looks pretty dynamic as well.

I haven't seen much of Dougherty (I am sure you have) but did see Attanasio's football video. Kid has is a legit talent no doubt. What's his lax game like?

Maybe we can start a collection and hire the Duke Ho for one of their team parties
