Since a number of of had so much to discuss over the last week figured we'd keep it going on another football (American football) less saturday morning...only a few more weeks to go

My question, I'm still on the fence about cheering on Arsenal or West Ham going into next year but...I'm torn who I should be rooting for tomorrow...west ham or Leicester...are there any fans that are rooting for Leicester even if they are facing your team if your favorite team really isn't playing for anything? I realize west ham is fighting for a spot on the champions or Europa league but...what's a guy to do? Discuss...

Can we merge threads or update titles? West Ham +320 caught my eye but still deciding. LC is a done deal at this point I'm not necessarily rooting for them just enjoying the ride and their matches.

If you really are still deciding between west ham and Arsenal wait til the transfer window and see what type of investment the clubs make and go from there.

When is the last time West Ham made a bigger investment than Arsenal, even with Wenger's reputation for not spending all he can?

I'm a Arsenal and Tottenham fan (I know it's weird) because I like their styles of play. It's hard NOT to root for Leicester this year - underdog with a bunch of no names that play with passion like their hair's on fire. When you pick a club, I would suggest you like how they play, how aggressive they are in transfer window and, most important, will be near the top of the table most years. Not much glory bring a Everton, Stoke, Swansea, etc fan. Unfortunately, Leicester probably won't be this good for very long - everything fell right for them and they could sell 2-3 key players.

What was wrong with the thread we already had going?
Different topic...this is about rooting for the underdog vs rooting for your "home" team...also the lady thread was getting stale...but if the mods want to merge so be it...

Being an Arsenal and Tottenham fan is like being a Rutgers and PSU fan...oh wait...

This year...

Next year they're moving to the Olympic Stadium which will open some more doors.

I don't understand why a person needs to select a club to cheer for.
I enjoy watching the games and the players, and I just hope for a very entertaining game.
I generally prefer matchups with the good teams, Arsenal, Man utd, Chelsea, Man City, Leicester, Tottenham, etc.
Enjoy the game. The players no longer have the loyalty to a team like in the past. So if you choose a club to cheer for because your favorite player is on that team, what will happen when the player transfers to another team? Do you change the club you root for?

Being a West Ham fan is much more like being a Rutgers fan than Arsenal or Spurs, much as I hate to admit it. "Fortunes always hiding, I've looked everywhere. I'm forever blowing bubbles, pretty bubbles in the air."
