3-0 MBB will try to go 4-0 today.

When was the last time that happen at Rutgers? When was the last time it happen with a new coach?

Good Luck!

Niagira or Niagra...can't spell

Edit...both are wrong... it's Niagara

Last time Rutgers went 4-0 was 16 years ago!

This is the 1st time ever that a new HC has gone 4-0 at Rutgers.

Yes, the competition isn't all that great but we were barely beating a D3 team last year when we played RU-NWK so I will take this all day.

proven head coach vrs assts as first time head coaches..
KnightandDay ..two hires so far for Hobbs.
granted Bball is easier to turn around.

Basketball is a waaay easier. The sheer number of kids on the roster, the fact freshmen can come in and immediately contribute routinely, and the much less spending differential all make hoops a much easier build.

Basketball is a speed boat. Football is a shipping tanker.

We are so far behind it football in facilities, spending, support, people just don't understand it.

Ash may or may not be the right guy, but we wouldn't know if anyone was at this point. It's all about recruiting. If he can do it for a few years consistently we will have a chance. If not, we won't. It's going to take a tremendous amount of work and some good fortune.

Hoops is much closer. A few players and a coach can obviously pay immediate dividends. In football that does nothing.

I wasn't able to watch more than a few minutes of any game over the last 4 years... too hard. I've now watched the last 2 (and half of their 2nd game)... It's a completely different team/game....

I understand the competition/talent vs. our B1G schedule.... But, this is a team with a strategy and a plan to execute... exciting...

Sanders gets ejected with 2 T's and the team runs away late in the 2ndH.... you never would have seen that before.......

I just finished watching today's game and I'm glad I dvr'd it.

It was the most enjoyable RU men's basketball game I've watched in some time.
They actually have some talent, some playmakers and some size.

Yes it was Niagara but that Scott kid could play on any B1G team easily.

I'm not sure what Sanders said to earn the ejection but I thought the technical on Freeman was a bad call by the official.

Hopefully Pikeill sits down 1 on 1 with Sanders to ensure this doesn't happen again.

I really like RU's depth which includes a few promising younger players.

Johnson had a helluva night.

I think Laurent and Freeman can play better, but that it what depth is for when the starters are a tad off.

I know the ante is upped in the B1G, ,but if RU can continue to improve and gel the rest of this month and into December's non-conference schedule, I think they can inspire the fanbase to start caring once again.

I have 12/23 @ Seton Hall pegged on my schedule.
I think RU can make it a game if they rebound well and value the basketball.
