Found the story while looking for Rutgers headlines on Twitter. Yeah--then don't read it, don't click on it. Blah, Blah, Blah. But this is the narrative, NJ.com puts out there on Rutgers.

"The university had 32 reported rapes in 2014, tied for seventh-most with the University of North Carolina, the analysis found."

BUT:

"On a per capita basis, Rutgers —at a rate of 0.7 per 1,000 students — does not rank among the highest in the nation, according to the analysis. "

"Victim advocates said that a higher number of reported rapes may be a sign more victims are comfortable coming forward."

Story is a potivive for RU, in my opinion.

Yes, we are near the top of reported rapes, but not near the top of rape rate.

Tells me RU admin. is is top notch in reporting, enforcing, and trying to prevent rapes. Nothing swept under bus

How many are perpetrated by RU students as opposed to non student predators? Yes, it does make a difference.
