I still want to try the Rutgers lettuce that is a superfood.

Early May and they already have strawberry that size ready to be picked? My quinault's that survived winter are just flowering now.

I worked for Dr. Jelenkovic in the strawberry greenhouses just behind the Douglas Student Center while I was in high school in the mid 80's. He is not mentioned in the linked article, but he did the original research in developing this and other strawberry and blueberry strains. Pretty cool stuff, I got to work in his lab on separating DNA material, running ultra-centrifuges, and on top of all that, eat about as many strawberry's as I wanted.......not bad for a high school summer job.
