One of those guys who was always on Carson, Merv, Mike Douglas and shows like that. Did a lot of guest spots on Fantasy Island, Love Boat and Love, American Style. More of a Vegas guy than anything else.
97 is a good run

I read a great story told by Shecky. He worked with Frank Sinatra for years and even opened for him at some shows. But they butted heads often. Shecky said that Sinatra saved his life.
Some of Sinatra's goons were beating the crap out of him and Sinatra said "OK fellas. That's enough."
Shecky was a funny guy.
