In NJ we try to squeeze every last dollar we can out of the taxpayer and any fun that one might have. Tailgating is not just about drinking and who does drugs out in the open at a tailgate???

The quote at the end of the article sums it up perfectly.

"All of our member schools are in agreement that we will not tolerate a few individuals enjoying themselves at the expense of everyone else.”

In other words everyone should be made as miserable as they are.

I'm kind of curious as to what they are going to do if a family has a table set up and is feeding their kids a healthy lunch before the game rather than a $5 hot dog inside the stadium.

only in NJ. Why are they even getting involved in this? What anyone does before or after a HS sporting event should not concern them. What if someone is sitting in their car and eating, is that illegal too? What is the enforcement? Who is going to walk up to someone and say they aren't allowed to eat before the game? What is the punishment for someone who does eat a hot dog out in the parking lot?

They rescinded this and are allowing "eating" just no alcohol.

That's how they do things over my way.

Tailgates are not the problem. People are the problem. Ban people from attending but allow tailgates. Problem solved.

Where is this picture from?

A German soldier named Hans Staden went to Brazil in late 1500s. He was captured by an Indian tribe who practiced cannibalism. He would survive and return to Europe, where he wrote about his captivity. The scenes of cannibalism and mayhem described by Staden were done by Theodor de Bry. If you want to read some chilling stuff check out Staden's writings.
