OT: UAB Football to be Reinstated

Too little, too late. They had a sliver of a chance to turn the program around with the success of this past season. Now it's starting from square one.

Anybody who wanted to still play college football left in December. This is a complete SMU type rebuild, and we see how that went.

Unlike SMU they were never a powerhouse.

Maybe Rutgers should schedule them for a 1 and done, don't we have open dates?

I still think they need a witch hunt for those who orchestrated the original "solution".
Never going to happen. A state has never been more in love with their flagship state university than Alabama. Everybody knows it's the BOT of the boys in Tuscaloosa that orchestrated this.

Whether or not UAB "belongs" the program was apparently profitable so if UAB wants to play at the FBS level, who's to say no?

Schools are lining up for one and dones with UAB so it can use those paycheck games to get back on their feet. Well everyone except Alabama, they are too scared to play them. :p

However, they don't start playing football until 2016. Will C-USA take them back?
