Beautiful day. 200,000 spectators. Crews from all over the world and just about every American university. RU has one men's boat going today in the Men's Collegiate Eights and that's it. I know men's rowing changed to a club sport a few years ago due to budget constraints. Where were the women?
At an event like that, it's a shame RU does not have more of a presence. Particularly since it's an old line Eastern school and rowing was our first varsity sport. Wisconsin had boats in five events, both men and women.
