OT: Was it a Bull Shark or a Great White in 1916.

But wasn't the shark caught in the Raritan Bay a Great White ? This conflicts with the fact that only Bull sharks are known to be able to swim in fresh water ( Matawan Creek). So maybe this was actually two sharks. A great white that killed the two swimmers along the coast and a Bull that swam up the creek and did its damage there.

When my wife was a little girl in Matawan (early 70’s) they used to have one of Lester Stilwell’s friends talk about it at an assembly.

And the Shark Team is a real thing.😛

I gave up watching news all together. Lots of World Fishing Network and old movies. Can't even watch recent movies with all the crap forced in.
