OT: Weather for Illinois

Most of this board is in suicide watch

Relax, go have a soda - , beat Illinois , , then beat maryland , Indiana and grab an upset win over minny or ped state - bowl still possible, even after a 78-0 loss

Mostly sunny with temps in the upper 50s by kickoff. Temperatures for early tailgaters should be...

Ah, f*ck it. Who really cares...

Yeah, kind of my feeling. I made a post on the weather for Illinois at the end of the UM weather thread, but I just didn't feel like making a thread for this game. Since it seems like tailgating is back to being our high point of the day, at least it should be a gorgeous day with highs in the low 60s - this one's as close to a lock as one can get 6 days out.

I hear you. But I'm actually hopeful this will be a rare win this season. So good weather for the tailgate and game, which it appears we may have, helps.

You must.

Those are the (my) rules. ;)

It's green grass and high tides, although I never quite understood both together, since there's no grass at the beach,

Upper 50's in the midday sun inside that stadium? T-shirt and jeans for this guy! Or sweatshirt and shorts. One of those.

I want to take the Hillary go high road but without a QB an O line a pass rush special teams LB's and an injury depleted D backfield I am not sure.

morning temps will be chilly with temps in the mid to upper 30s around 7-8AM but will warm up quickly..at least low 60s maybe a bit above will feel better with bright sun and blue skies

Was definitely a lock 6 days out. Saturday is going to be a spectacularly gorgeous day with deep blue skies and almost no clouds. Low temps will be in the low 40s in the urban areas and there could even be a little frost well N/W, but temps will rebound quickly into the 50s by 9 am and up to the low/mid 60s by game time. With little to no wind, it'll feel very nice.

Loved them in High School. Did I date myself? Ghost Riders in the Sky.

Amused at weather forecastors last week with nuisance rain, meanwhile I'm soaked. Guess different definition of "nuisance."

0.2" of rain over 5-6 hours was nuisance to me, sorry. I was annoyed my tailgate crew insisted on having the canopy up - wasn't that bad to me.

Exactly. Tailgate was fine. It was the 6:50 walk into the stadium, pregame, and 1st 10-minutes of the game(?), that sucked.
