In all our infinite wisdom, Team USA and the "Torts" coaching staff decided to go with grit and determination over skill, youth and speed for it's bottom 6 forwards and 3rd defense pairing.
This strategy leaves us buried in our own end with no creativity...complete stupidity.
This post still has a chance to be premature ejaculation, but after watching Americans Eichael, Gaudrau, Larkin, Jones, Matthews, Saad, Troubab, Gostisbehere and Troccheck skate circles around the Fins representing Team North America, I doubt it!

That's why Tortorella is no longer with the Rangers. His style of play is not exciting to watch. Today's game is all about speed, stick skills, and burying the puck.

I thought there was an age minimum because of the North American under 24 team. Wasn't sure those players could be in team USA.

That said, torts style is weak

No age minimum for Team USA, they were passed over...23 and under is a requirement for Team North America however.

Not true. Team North America had the first shot at any player under the age of 24 to make the team.
 
This was done (having a Team North America) so MORE guys from the US and Canada get to play in this.

My son loves the way it was set up.

I tend to agree with you but I guess the more the merrier.
