One of the worst things about living in the nyc area for years was that many times the only game you would get would be the lowly jets . A close second worst is the traffic . Thankfully there is red zone and direct tv nowadays .

I don't watch pro FB and so I don't have a dog in this hunt. But didn't the lowly Jets just beat the Giants?

Yes , they did . I was making reference reference to all of those years when the only thing you could watch was the local broadcast . In this area we were subjected to watching bad and boring jets games for years . It ruined the NFL experience for many of family and friends . Thankfully now there are ways to watch more games .

Years ago - In northern areas of Central Jersey you could put aluminum foil on the old rabbit ears ... twist it around and just barely pull in extra games from Philly .

I still get the Fox affiliate from Philly as part of my cable package, but it's not in HD

Comcast in Brick, I have Philly & NYC feeds all in High Def. Can get up to 8 NFL games some weekends. Not too mention all 3 NHL, NBA and MLB teams via CSN, MSG, SNY, well Comcast just dropped YES so no Yankees or Nets now.

I am not that young . I remember those days . I guess the jets must have stunk most of the last 30 years and badically ruined the pro football watching experience for so many people . Thank God for red zone and NFL ticket so future generations are spared .
