For the first time all year our play calling really held us back. Twice in 1st quarter we run it on 3rd and 6-7 inside Iowa territory. The thinking was we'd play field position game knowing Iowa probably wouldn't go length of field.
We essentially gave up trying to extend the drive thinking we could win with a score or two (later). But if we actually try to get a first, we might have gotten points. At some point you have to go for it. Try to WIN instead not lose.
