Have tickets for UMass-Lowell. Haven't been able to get a parking pass. If you park far enough away (say Livingston Rec Center) are you safe from getting ticketed?

or you could just pay for the cash lot, right? I have a few games and no passes but am assuming they will still have that option (I hope) . Too old now to make those long free walks.

if i go to half dozen games per year about $100 . maybe spit in bucket to you is not for somebody else.
Then park off just off campus and take the Livingston bus. If you can’t afford to pay for parking then you can’t afford to pay the ticket for parking where you’re not allowed. My point is there is a way if there is a need. Many of us have been there and did it the right way. Zero sympathy from me for folks being ticketed. As far as those that have the money but game the system, I hope you cheap assses are ticketed and you step in deer shiit on your long walk to the RAC. 😉

Well I assume you’re not going to the game alone. So you can’t split $15 with someone? 6 times a year.

if you can afford the ticket, you can afford the parking. We’re not talking a whole lot of money here

I know someone parked behind the Livingston apartments for two years. Only got ticketed once for $30.

Been parking in lot 105 for years. They ticket once in awhile on weeknights and never on weekends (it's a M-F lot). I have hangtags from my years of recruiting engineers and volunteering on campus, so those likely have helped me not get tickets. But even if I got 1-2 tix per year, that's still a lot cheaper than paying for a season pass.

$20 to park is ridiculous... I split a pass with a friend with our season tickets, so our cost isn't bad. I think $10 is a reasonable price point to park for 2 hour basketball game. For the record, I get why football games need a higher rate, with added traffic staff, police OT, and expenses like porta-Johns.
